Key Beliefs Yield Happiness
* Man is sinful and needs saving.
* Man cannot save himself.
* God is forgiving AND just.
* God accepted Christ's perfect life to pay for our sins.
* God wants a relationship with you.
* God sees believers as his family.
* Believers serve because they want to.
The Future Is NOW - If you died today, what's next for you?
Heaven or Hell.
A - Acknowledge that you (as all humans) have sinned against God.
B - Believe on Jesus Christ as your Savior.
C - Commit to a relationship with God.
Keep in mind:
* Forgiven = Righteous --> Changed Attitude
* Believers are of a Royal Family, Heirs of God
* The Lord is all powerful, all knowing, and ever present.
What a relief! We feel bad when we sin or hurt.
The Lord can provide the best for us - through
His Word and His Promises.
* There is no problem too large and no problem too small
for God.
* Believers are freed from sin and "indebted" to
Christ Our Redeemer.
* Trust and obey God. It is our duty and will yield the most blessings.
* Be confident in God. Do not doubt.
* Believe. Jesus saves, is saving, and will save.
* Cast your cares on the Lord. Rest in the Lord.
* You need to KNOW His Word to obey it, trust it,
and believe it.
* Spiritual maturity is a process.
* Put faith before feeling (emotion). Much like being a parent doing what is best for your child.
* Temptation is not sin.
* Discouragement is destructive.
* Confess sin immediately.
* Focus on heavenly things.
* Cut loose from earthly ties.
